DESCRIPTION:
HerSchy Environmental, Inc. is seeking a Professional Hydrogeologist to support projects throughout central California with emphasis on the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. The ideal candidate will have three, or more, years experience in investigation and remediation planning for soil and groundwater projects. This individual will be a Professional Geologist (PG) and Hydrogeologist (CHG) capable of directing and guiding the work of others. A Bachelor of Science and certified PG or CHG are required. Proficient analytical and writing skills are also required. We regret that we will not accept any applications from individuals who do not meet those requirements.
The successful candidate will perform field sampling, monitoring well installation, and work plan and report preparation. However, this individual will primarily provide technical support for environmental projects including, fieldwork, geologic logging/well installation, groundwater sampling, and provide project management for aquifer tests, groundwater modeling, water quality studies, groundwater investigations, and technical report writing, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a minimum of a Bachelor of Science and a Professional Hydrogeologist (CHG) certification in California. Also required; three, or more, years experience in the environmental industry. Field work and travel will be required.
Must have developed computer skills in Windows, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge in Microsoft Access, GIS and/or computer database experience is a plus.
